Following on from the https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/s...gns-in-north-wales.264214/page-3#post-7595213 (French sign warning drivers about cyclists) today saw one of these in rural Norfolk:
Never seen one before.
Proper long term sign (not the temporary plastic things), built to same standard as the regular Highways signs.
Anybody know what organisation puts up such signs? Whilst I like the idea it's on roads I know well and the road this one is on is pretty trouble free with regard to cars but roads within a few miles nasty when cycling thanks to the cars. ie I'm not convinced they are siting them particularly well.
But I'd be interested to know how many are planned (this one is new and the only one I've seen in the area), etc.
