I'm looking to put some slicker tyres on my bike for road use - I currently have Bonty Jones cxr's on it 700 x 34c.
Any recommendations as I have no idea what to go for??? Something with a little toughness would be appreciated (after 3 p*******s in a week!)
Also, how do I know what size I can put on??

I used to use Continental CityRides on mine, which are 32mm and slick. They are also VERY puncture proof, and hence expect them to be difficult to get on and off the wheel!

When the weather became icy, after an off on some black ice, I changed to Scwalbe Sammy Slicks. As the name suggests, they are semi slicks, and they are 35mm tyres. I'm very happy with them (no puncture resistance though).

If you want thinner, my rims could have fit 25mm or 28mm, so I think I could have gone with Gatorskins too - but I wanted the wider tyre while it's wet and icy.
