Roads greasy this morning

You can tell we have not had any rain for a while, coming home this morning in the rain and the road surface was pretty dodgy .
the back wheel was slipping every time i took a pedal stroke up hill and i had to back off the power a bit.
lets hope the rain has cleared the road debris a bit .

Looking at the met we are not really going to get it untill tomorrow night this morning was only light drizzle here (which sods law stopped when I got to work ). Looks like the wind is getting up though

The foam is a mix of salt/molasses, oil and general filth as it's been so dry. We've certainly not had enough rain to clear it away recently.

Just started raining in Leeds for the first time this week, gonna take it a little easy (I don't think you can do much more on a hybrid).

Definately slippy on the fylde coast.
My commute is the same route most days and we had rain on the way home,my hybrids tyres have tread on them and it was very slippy in places so much so i had to slow right down especially on the newly resurfaced roads.

Given the number of accidents that apparently were causing chaos in Bristol yesterday which seem to occur shortly after the rain arrived - I don't think it was a coincidence. Saw the after effects of a 4 car pile up myself - which led to big tail backs for a couple of hours I think looking at the traffic bit on google maps even after I got home.
