Does anyone know if the police check insurance details for vehicles reported to Roadsafe London? Had ocassion to use that service this evening after being cut up twice by an elderly green Lexus: apparently it's not legal for me as a civilian to use askmid.com unless either the car is my own or there was an actual accident, but presumably they have no such restrictions. I imagine it would not be a hard procedure for them to automate, I'm just wondering if they do
