Heat is a great film - and I might watch it again this weekend now we've mentioned it, but Goodfellas is a genuine classic and amongst the greatest films of all time.

Ronin is, in my opinion, hugely underrated and well worth another watch (or a first watch if you haven't already seen it), but do yourself a favour and avoid Dirty Grandpa which is truly terrible

I found his role in Stardust pretty funny. It was almost like he was trying to do the reverse of his previous roles.

I love Goodfellas, but couldn't sit through ... wait, Meet the Fockers? That's not even regarded as good by people who like Meet the Parents.

Goodfellas is my favourite, Cape Fear is great too, but DeNiro is far too good and really scary. Midnight Run is great too.

Shame he hasn't made anything decent for at least a decade, if not two. That's just IMVHO, but at the same time, he is probably the best actor I've ever seen.
