I'd love a genuine Les Paul

I was channel hopping the other day and came across an American show based in a big pawn shop. I was about to turn it off when Les Paul's nephew walked in with a Gibson Les Paul that used to belong to his aunt Mary Ford, one time wife and musical partner of Les Paul. I immediately thought that if it turned out to be genuine, it would be worth a fortune. There was a stack of paperwork with the guitar, including documents written by Les Paul saying that he regretted hooking up with Gibson. Exciting stuff. Ah - YouTube wins again - watch this ...!

Wow! (Mind you, if were the nephew, I would have put it in an auction myself.)

That's right they are quite rare, it's a lovely little guitar, sadly it's been in it's case in the wardrobe for about 2 years along with the strat,
