I took my Rebas back to Merlin Cycles and complained about the oil leaking out of the wiper seal on the RH leg. Very grudgingly they sent the forks back to Rockshox who returned them with a note saying: "Stripped and found no fault, replaced O ring seals and lost oil". (Which to me is an admission of a fault!)
After the first ride there's a big band of red oil and dirt building up again at the limit of movement of the RH wiper seal.
Does this mean the damper unit is still leaking and the oil is being forced past the outer seal or is the problem simply that the wiper seal is leaking and allowing the oil that normally slops around inside to escape?
