Can I add Lisa Stansfield, Alison Moyet and Jimmy Sommerville to the 'better than Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga or Christina Aguilera' list.

Also where is Meatloaf, Madonna and Holly Johnson!

It’s all subjective but I don’t think Stansfield, Moyet, Summerville or Johnson wouldnt be well known enough in USA to get on the list.

Meatloaf is a definite omission but he also never got into the Rock and Roll hall of fame, so I think he is regarded as a bit of an outlier in the USA.

I’m not sure about Madonna’s singing prowess.
