Route 7 Inverness to Edinburgh wild camp spots

Hey folks, i am planning to ride this soon but due to some bug going around the campsites are not open to tent dwellers.
Has anyone got any good recommendations for wold camping spots along this route? thanks

I'd ask folk to PM you unless the recomemndations are very general. Not a good idea I think to have wildcamping toptips on the open web. Or you may turn up to a load of old bottles and various human waste matter.
A look at a good map/OSM will find some likely spots and you can suss more on the day, leaving yourself time to discretely scout. I often find that, counter-intuitively perhaps, some of the best spots are quite close to fast roads.
