Hi all.
Can anyone recommend a site where i can trace a route on the map.Looking for one where i can calculate the distance and choose my course to take.It doesnt need to be uploaded to anything its just for planning?

ive used bikehike in the past, works well, and you have the option to save it in various formats that can be read by gps devices and other compatible kit/software

If you're not saving anything, yer common or garden Google maps are pretty good. Better with a log-in.

Oh yes. I meant saving routes as tracks for download to gps. I think that can be done, but it's much easier on one of the dedicated routing sites.
 
RidewithGPS is my favourite but as Ian says there's lots of them.

Without me going and playing on all of them and maybe having to go through the registration, can anyone tell me which use OS Landranger maps? I know some of the other mapping is good, but I've grown up with Lanranger and find it easier to pick out the route that'll suit me.

bikehike - it uses Google and OS maps, which is why I prefer it.
