routecheck.cc - find POIs along a route

Here's something interesting https://routecheck.cc/

You upload a GPX track of your planned route. It appears on a map with a background of red roads that are derived from Strava heatmap data.

You click on POIs and it shows you points of interest along your route, Cafes, shops, pubs and so on, so you can plan where to pull in for a Ginsters pastie or two.

I've not tried it out apart from checking that it works so I've no idea how good the underlying POI data is.

It can link somehow to your RWGPS a/c but I haven't tried that yet.

This sounds good. Got a couple of rides coming up in uncharted territory (for me, anyway) so will try this out to find somewhere to refuel.

I would sincerely hope it could find something more edible than Ginsters' "finest".
