Royal Wedding: Will you be watching?

I shall, quite literally, be leaving the country. I am only coming back for Easter so I can leave for the royal wedding.

Perhaps we should have a new "CC" jersey specially designed for the cake munchers , a big locust on it.

Or a giant locust in a death-match with a gannet, with a single slice of cake between them?

My nephew told me numerous times last week that when he grows up, he's going to be "the expert and the boss". I'm not holding it against him.

He'll have to make his mind up. He can't be both.

I'm not interested in the Royal Family. I'm not interested in the weddings of strangers. I'm not interested in fashion. Oh, and I'm not a fan of gushing media hype either!

So, after lengthy consideration ... Er, no, I will not be watching the Royal Wedding!

That's pretty much how I feel about the whole thing too. I've nothing against them in any way, but if the country really will be glued to their tellies- strikes me it will be a great day for a long ride!

I will be watching the event as I am in charge of tecnicals at our Church where we are having a party and veiwing on the screens in the worship area. I might go for a ride for an hour before I need to be at the Church though.

Stephenite lives in the same road as me (200 yards away): maybe we should have our own street party!

Not fussed about the actual wedding but will be watching to see the fashion.

That's my wife's take.

I shall do what every other cyclist is planning - RIDE. Although, watch out for drunks mid to late afternoon, especially near pubs, any excuse for a party.

I am rather excited about the wedding, well not the wedding itself as such - But the fact they've declared it a bank holiday..
So now I can get a little gished on my birthday knowing I will not have to get up at silly 'o'clock for work the next day, we will then be attending the bbq/party on Beach Green, but my bubs think the party is just for me LOL!!
So thnak you Will & Kate I will really appreciate the lie-in x

I think if I am in the house then it'll be on as Mrs N has taken the day off to watch it. It's likely I'll be out on my bike and walking the dog.

I have no interest in the royal wedding, and hope not to see any of it. Hope the campsite we are staying at doesn't throw a party or we shall have to be antisocial and b*gg*r off out for the day!
