Well, I suspect the OP did not get the answers they were looking for..

They didn't ask any questions though. Cheap bike bought online that needed some final assembly and the OP couldn't manage it. Mechs will need adjusting, brakes will need adjusting, gears will be clunky as its a £180 bike and they didn't understand how a quill stem worked. If they wanted a fully adjusted bike ready to ride then they should have stuck with the LBS

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Of course there are exceptions.... The other day on HUKD's i saw a deal post for a Muddyfox fixie/ss bike for under £100 from Sports Direct. Says it all really doesn't it ! Yep, avoid like the plague !
Then someone linked a review vid about it. The guy in the vid was obviously an experienced cyclist and competent in setting up and upgrading bikes. He then used this bike working for Deliveroo and posted follow up vids about it.

This one for £93.50? https://www.sportsdirect.com/muddyfox-fixie-race-bike-933154?colcode=93315445

Probably because it's pretty simple. The Viking mentioned (possibly this) was probably beyond the op's skill level.
