How much does it cost to Oldham?
I enjoy- ENJOY- running when I can't get out on the bike for whatever reason (time, work, rain etc) and find 30-50 minutes three or four times a week is a good way of keeping fitness 'topped up'. I take it steady at first though, it's far too easy to pick up injuries!

I never could run. I can cycle thirty miles but am half dead if I run for a bus!
Same here. Cycling, yes; Walking, yes; Swimming, yes. But I just don't do the "R" word.

I've set myself a month of three runs per week totalling 1 hour per week to get me going; hopefully this will stop me launching in to longer runs too early. this is a common problem I have when starting up again. within a few runs i'm trying to do 5 mile runs, i then get really tired and run down get a cold stop running and have to wait a week or so to start the whole thing again!
