Running in tomorrow

I'm not getting enough exercise with my new London-based twice a week routine - it's only a couple of miles from station to office. So I'll run in tomorrow. If anyone using the St. Pauls-Farringdon-Kings Cross south-north axis at about 8 to 8.30 am tomorrow sees a fat puffy bloke with a blue rucksack and a red-and-black knitted cap, give me a ding-a-ling of encouragement.

It's likely to be a regular occurence, as I need to be in our London office fairly frequently. I might even lose some weight. Last time I went running I was clocking 12 minute miles, so there's plenty of room for improvement.

I have a short (cycling wise) commute as it's mostly by train to London. So I either get off early-Clapham or East Croydon and cycle in or do laps of Hyde Park to make up the miles. Also running in the evening. It's hard work to do this when I don't have to, unlike a regular commute from home to work.

7th commute tommorow, then two days off.

I'll look out for you but I don't generally go that way.Im sure I cross somewhere though.

Next year's plan is something like this:-

Mon: Cycle in, Run home
Tue: Run in, cycle home, 5-a-side football in the evening
Wed: Cycle in, cycle home
Thu: Cycle in, 5-a-side football after work, cycle home
Fri: Cycle (or get train)

7 miles each way, should be just over an hour running in.

Well, it was nice and enjoyable, but shorter than I thought - 20 mins max. It can only be a couple of miles at most, if not one-and-a-half. When I get a bit fitter, I'll start putting a loop in around Rosebery avenue, Angel, and Pentonville Road.
