The last week of June ended with mostly rain and July has been even worse. It's the 17th of July and we have had rain in 16 of those days. I really have to be in the mood to get wet and this year hasn't been a year I have been in that mood. Today I had a window open up before more rain moved in so it was off to knock off some rust. I'm hoping this trend breaks soon, or I'll have to drag out my old rain gear and put on my big boy pants and go get wet ^_^.

I've done plenty of riding in the rain, but most of the rain coming in is with thunderstorms and heavy downpours. Dealing with cars is bad enough but when they have a little tougher time seeing in heavy rain I'll stay away. I'd do the trails in the rain but with all the heavy rain the trails are water logged and I don't want to tear them up. I gave up riding indoors years ago just not my cup of tea.
If this pattern continues I may drive about 3 towns over (32 miles) and do an area that has a very large dirt road network with my trail bikes in the rain.
