Awww come on, don't be ridiculous! It's far easier to sit with your engine running in a queue of cars for 20 minutes than face the torturous alternative of parking 20 yards away, WALKING to the front door, and getting served almost immediately.

I once came out of a cinema late at night (11pm) with a mate who said that he needed a big Mac....100m away. I said that if he parked up, I'd be happy to walk in & buy him one as he was driving. He insisted on using the drive-through despite the fact there were about 10 cars queuing & about three people actually in the restaurant. Plus, I was buying so he'd not need to get out of the car...I sometimes just give up at how utterly pig lazy our society is.
