Sad Day.

Yesterday actually.Had to take my 15 year old Cocker Spanial Sally to the vets.She had been unwell for a few days,collapsing into unconsciousness for short period and incontinent.Vet agreed that given her age that there was nothing could be done for her so agreed to euthanasia.

Returned from shopping this morning expected to see bundle of black fur dashing across the kitchen her stumpy tail wagging.That tail never stopped wagging.
Good by old friend.

Rough. I’m sorry. My springer went at 9 years old. Fit as a fiddle. Heart attack in the night. I still ‘see’ her. She would come to work with me so we spent lots of time together.

Between dogs at the moment as circumstances don’t not allow for a new companion.

The kids helped bury her which smoothed the process. We planted a radiata pine with her.
