Sad news - cyclists killed

Really sad news to read this morning and is too close to home as local roads. Even closer for @Sharky

Two cyclists killed, another injured in Sole Street, Kent.
At 7.50am on a Sunday morning there would have been very little traffic on those roads.

Two young men arrested for causing death by dangerous driving.

Nobody in our club.
One of our members lives in Sole Street and the Sunday clubrun meets at the memorial cross in Cobham nearby, but it happened a bit before they normally meet.

It's disturbing when accidents occur on roads you frequent.

Could be they helped hide or dispose of evidence after the event. We dont know, and speculation doesn't help anyone.

Kent is somewhere i've seen appalling driving.

No one gets 'murdered' on our roads. Causing death by dangerous driving is the highest level someone can be charged with, carrying a maximum seven and a half year sentence in both cases, if I can remember rightly.🤔

It wasn't murder. It was man slaughter. The all too familiar story of young lads probably showing off, bombing around country lanes at excessive speeds. They didn't mean to or go out to kill people but there was always the possibility with their stupidity.
