I was thinking today that I hadn't seen any of his posts recently. It came as a complete shock to read of his sudden death on here tonight.
In the short time that I have been of CC reading posts, he came over as being a likeable character with many friends on here who will sadly miss him.
He was proud of the work he was doing on his rubber powered model, it is a shame he won't be able to finish it.
My thoughts go to all his family and friends on here.
This year has taken memorable characters and Vernon is one of them.
