The saddle on my Specialized Allez squeaks when I pedal. I have tighten all screws and bolts in that area but can't stop it from squeaking which I find annoying. What else can I do? I thought of replacing it with another saddle as I have a spare one but the Specialised one has a slot in the middle to access adjusting screw and my spare one has not.

Grease all contact points.

I would upend the bike and spray some WD40 into the holes where the rails enter the plastic shell.

Greasing the seat post in the seat tube was all I needed.
Wish I'd read this a couple of weeks ago. For the last fortnight, I have had a similar 'squeak' from the saddle area on Patsy #3 The Hybrid. Convinced it came from the saddle itself, I oiled, greased, tightened, re-attached - all to no avail, until I loosened the seat post today, gave it a wiggle, and re-tightened. Ta-da!

It was driving me up the wall as well. I was amazed at how it stopped and kept expecting it to start again!

Thought my saddle was squeaking, only made a noise while moving my legs, stopped if stood up and pedalled. Spent ages lubing the saddle, then found out it was my pedal cleats making the noise
Quick squirt of Gt 85 before each ride and all is silent ^_^

Make sure you take the seat post out at least every few months (assuming aluminium/aluminium), clean and replace (with whatever you wish to smear on it - search 'copper' on Cc for views on that). In fact seeing @gavroche 's OP was August, about now, perhaps?

With reference to changing the saddle I have a specialized diverge with the same access slot to the adjusting screws. I want to change this to a charge spoon (my comfort saddle) would I need to change the saddle mounting brackets do you know?
