I've never yey bought a bike and kept the saddle longer than a month or two. The stock one fitted to my Veranti has been replaced by a Selle Italia, knocked down to £26 from whatever it was before by Wiggle. Luckily I have a Selle Italia butt because anything I've bought from them in the past has been ok and this one is no exception.

Its strange how it works, normally the saddle is one of the first things that gets changed, I'm very much a fan of the charge spoon saddle, but the stock saddle on my Verenti Kilmeston is still there, I've had the bike almost 4 years and covered about 8000 miles, the saddle was comfortable from the start and has stayed comfortable.

Have you tried a Spesh Body Geometry (BG) Riva Ladies saddle. They are lovely. I've got one on both my roadies.

The old mens Riva was good, the new redesigned ones are horrible, they have a moulded seam around the edge that rubs your shorts and the cover is made out of some material that seems to grip your shorts and the nose is twice as wide. The spesh Avatar is better, have you not tried just borrowing a couple of different sized saddles from your LBS? Re measuring you can try sitting on some absorbent material after a shower and measure the distance on the wet marks left behind. Which is basically what they do in the shop.
