Anyone else's phone dipped in performance since the 4.3 update?
I've got a Galaxy S3 on Vodafone, since 4.3 update, I have to charge battery 3 times per day. Coupled with this, my music player jumps, my screen freezes and apps / widgets crash.
Really disappointed, I had a really good, stable phone, now I've got a pig in a poke. I hope others on here are not facing the same issues but I bet I'm wrong.

Mine recently updated and seems fine, not noticed anything being worse than before

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have a samsung tablet and since the update about a month ago, the dam thing is playing up. The virtual keyboard stops working, it's slow, and it suddenly shuts the internet down for no reason. I know it's not a phone, but it's the same principle I think.

Possibly an app playing up, just in off chance , have you side loaded an app recently or before the update ?
If not, take it a Vodafone store and get their opinion.
I thought Samsung had pulled the update until Spring because of issues?
if you are competent it may be an option to root it....it gets rid of all the bloatcrap the carriers put in.
Best of luck....
Keep an eye on your settings, battery and what is using it the most...if a wayward app is hogging the battery, uninstall it.
A long shot, I had the same problem but I'd 'got' an app from other than the Play Store.

It will be, it will have an Android O/S.

Did you have a good new year, W/D?

My Samsung tab3 comes with Android 4.3 preinstalled, no problem so far, although I remember when my Galaxy s2 was upgraded to 4.1 I had some issues for a month until there was a further update released by Samsung to fix the bugs.

Currently having bluetooth problems on a Nexus7 with Android 4.4.

Speach recognition software was downloaded during the last update, it keeps wanting me to speak instead of typing the words. Can I get rid of it. Don't see any way of doing so.

It wont allow me to disable it, only turn it off for around an hour at a time, then it comes back on again cheers anyway.

The update is cleverer than you thought, it knows you would never not talk for more than an hour at a time ;)
