Do you own one? How many blasts do you get when you've filled the canister up? Have you found it a helpfull addition to your bike?

The number of blasts depends on the volume setting and how long your blast is.
I always over fill my AirZound to 100psi, the maximum but above the recommended 80psi. It sounds louder and lasts longer. I have never counted the blasts between fill up's, normally if I use it I refill it the same day.
I think but I am not sure, the other week I used five times and it was still half full.
I find it very useful for alerting the more dopey road user but use it rarely, although not as rarely as I would like.

here's a question though, do you keep it filled all the time or should you release the air when you put your bike away?
I keep it filled all the time, otherwise I will forget and the next time I need it, it will be empty.

no worries, i was in airsoft mode for a min there, gassed magazines always get emptied at the end of the day or it can damage the seals etc.
prolly way over 100psi in them though.

I found them very useful,yes i reckon 10 good blasts is about right at 80 psi .
Very loud and easily installed.
I just sold mine as the only place i ever used it lately was on a mini roundabout where i can get cut up and i can read that one.
My commute is a lot of country lanes either early or late so it was not getting enough use to justify it , once a month did not seem like a useful tool in my case .

A typical example...... but I must stress that on the Trike, I can fully operate both brakes and the horn is operated by the heel of the hand so does NOT compromise braking.

I bought one last week, and put it on my MummyBike..which I have only ridden once since & had no need to use it, aprt from to test it out on the driveway after fitting it OL!
But I have had several occasions on my other bike that the horn would have been a Godsend, guess i'll be buying another after all!!

Used mine this morning, going through a subway with cycle lane running through. Loads of students walking through plenty walking in the cycle lane, but they soon shift when they spot me heading into them. But at the end is a sharp left where the cycle lane goes, I turn right but am aware of people walking straight out in front of me. So I give a blast of the horn, very loud in a subway lol, as I turn a group of people on the corner, they look like they need to change there pants! Lol
