Barnet,
when you say meat free, can it have fish in it?

I think this was answered a few posts back. The answer seems to be No.

Stilton, with mustard pickle. Tastes great but does make your breath smell a bit.

Grow your own beansprouts, they make a good addition to butties. Mung and aduki are nice and big and crunchy.
Easy too.

Lordy, I'd say I'd opened a can of worms, but they're definitely meat!

Pescatarians eat fish, fruitarians eat only fruits, nuts and seeds.

I don't eat meat - as in beef, pork, lamb, chicken etc, because I don't like the texture, and the fats in meat make me ill. I never said I was a vegetarian. I eat fish, but there's lots I'm not keen on - fresh tuna and salmon for example, as when they are cooked they are very dense and difficult to digest.

Around twenty years ago, while working abroad I contracted food poisoning which led to a severe intestinal infection and hospitalisation and since then I've experienced intolerance to certain foods - its easier to rule things out of my diet than be ill for days at a time.

I have to say, your peanut butter suggestions are great - I made a fantastic peanut butter and chocolate cake the other week, filled with dulce de leche, and sprinkled with caramelised peanuts. It was out of this world, and the best thing when coming in from a long ride, with a big mug of milky coffee :hungry:

Stuff sandwiches.... that sounds heavenly.

Never cycled over 50 miles but I reckon I could do Glasgow to Hull if that was waiting for me at the end of it!

No need, here's the recipe. Don't skimp on the dulche de leche, you can buy a tinned version now, carnation condensed milk, ready done, it's about £1.50

Yuummmm, look at that lovely photo.... It's just a pity no one else at home likes peanuts, if I made it, I'd have to eat the entire thing myself!

Ahem, I have bookmarked the recipe though, ta for that
