if Santa is looking for his reindeer they are on the stall at the Birmingham Christmas German market... On the burger stand

does anyone else think that's a tad inappropriate ?
Not in the slightest. It's a shame Birmingham is so far away. I may have to pay a visit to Winter Wonderland this year to see if they do reindeer burgers though. :hungry:

There's a golf course near Meriden and I've often seen Deer browsing in the rough as I've cycled past, its struck me as bit strange, people playing golf whilst the Deer are grazing in the rough a few yards away.

Not here. The deer are 3/4 the size of a cow, from eating corn in farm fields, instead of leafy greens and acorns in the forest. Quite skittish, as we generally shoot them with:
bows and arrows,
guns,
Muzzle loading guns
pistols,
and, for the physically challenged,or elderly
the crossbow.
And yet, there are more white-tailed deer now than when Europeans first came here in search of cheaper venison.

The deer are in full rut here its quite a pornographic site as the train passes by. Last night we stopped for a red light and all you could hear we're roaring stags in the field next to the train.

It not a quiet business you know.
WhiteTails much the same. I remember my father sending me a news clipping in college about a lady whose concrete lawn ornament deer were being assaulted with great vigor by a confused and unabashed stag. I posted it in the commons area.

If you are anywhere near Richmond Park in west London, it's well worth a visit after dark when they have closed the roads to cars at 4:15 pm. Walkers and cyclists can enter, but after about 6:30 pm it tends to be empty of pretty much everybody.....except the deer. Somebody said that they get closer to the empty road at night to graze on the grass near the traffic that scared them in daylight. You see them out of the corner of your eye as you wizz down the hills in the darkness, hoping that they don't leap out and get you. Magic.
