I've asked for some 105 or Ultegra brakes as an upgrade from my wife. I will probably get a new shirt and/or shoes instead (nor cycling ones either). It's OK I like shirts and shoes but probably need the brakes more...
I was given a piece of paper and asked to write a list ( I never normally ask for anything) so i added new bib shorts, bib tights and new overshoes in hope more than expectation .. I have since spotted Evans cycles boxes delivered. Cooking that Sunday dinner once a month must of done it!

I've asked the wife for some motorbike gloves. I can't think of anything else. I just want everyone to get along and have a nice time.
I usually get a new jumper from the mother in law, which is nice. The one I got last year was cut in two by my then 3 year old who managed to get scissors from somewhere.
There are some good deals on tools at the moment - socket sets etc, if that's your thing.

Maybe I'm just a miserable old git but I'm big enough to buy what I want when I want or need it. I don't need a special day to wait for any more than I need to wait for Shrove Tuesday if I fancy a pancake or Valentines Day to tell Mrs SB that I love her.
My Birthday is the week before Christmas and I have no interest in that either as an event or acquisitive opportunity.
