Morning all. Definitely a chilly start just on the cusp of single digits here. Sadly at work for last day of shutdown, then back to normality. OH taking me out for a cheeky meal and beer later as young Oxo is in Cornwall for the wkend. House seems very quiet.

just 16 at the pond, should have worn gilet

temperature necessitated a second cafe stop for a restorative double espresso

next a stroll while waiting for it to reach basking temperature

Saturday = bike day and weather looks nice again. Headed out in a bit for a tour of NW Kent with a cafe stop somewhere along the way

Bright and breezy on the ParkRun course today. Felt a couple of drops of what I hope was rain halfway around.

Bumped into Markus Stitz on my ride yesterday. He's developed quite a good 'yeah, it's me' glance. Friendly without any sign of aloofness.

No sign of teenagers. DD2 has managed to bruise her foot quite badly so there's a genuine reason for not exercising her too hard.

Were you on a super gnarly trail when you saw him?

Sadly no, route 1 near Crammond. Couldn't have been more middle class or less gnarly.

Afternoon
Its quite warm and sunny here. Walked Bertie early on then did some weights and fingerboarding as I still can’t my climbing shoes due the blisters on my heels. Later is a party at Howard’s down the village.
