Power cut last night meant Rogan Josh without the Pita bread I made.
Will research how to make my Solar/battery set a stand alone system in these situations. Would be very handy.

Morning Sweaty forumites, just a little warm last night. Young oxo turned up in a state after playing drinking games with mates. Left him to sleep it off, even the dog ditched him in disgust. No running or riding today as back still giving me gip. Day will be spent pottering and sorting kit out for upcoming bikepacking trip and planning a camping trip with both sons. Have a nice day peeps and take it steady in this heat.

Bit overcast here so not blazing hot, breakfast , coffee then hit the road back north in the van. Dropping our Canadian pal in Windermere on the way for a walking tour.
Ride to the Sun tonight, forecast has changed so may get a soaking on the way.

It will be a bit sweaty today. Best takes the hounds out soon in the woods where there's some shade. Then build some IKEA things that junior bought, tip trip at the hottest time of day then some lounging in the garden with a nice cold G&T I reckon.

Nice run this morning, feet not too sore which is good news.

Sea swim and lots of pool time with the kids has been good. Late lunch and a cold beer now 😎 out later for a nice meal and then downstairs to their bar where a dj is playing
