It's time they made stages longer too. The ave. speed just keeps going up. Stage 17 was a mere 161km's. A 100 mile stage in the 'biggest race in the world'?! FFS. It was rolling too, not even a high mountain stage. Tik Tok tours for those with short spans of attention and media hype which fuels a fever and advertising revenue at the expense of racing. There needs to be more balance.
Also, a minimum number of racing days needs to be a prerequisite. How many racing days did Vingegaard race in 2024? (Pog had just 58 IIRC). The answer: 38.
