We've had a very traumatic day today and just back from A&E after finding my 13 month-old grandchild needs surgery on a deep face wound I saw happen this afternoon. IN MY OWN LIVING ROOM!
It was a truly sickening attack which occurred for no reason at all.
We'd foolishly agreed to babysit my sister's Scots Terrier while they're on holiday but today, we really wished we'd said no. It was a sweet thing used to babies as my sister has a seven month-old grandchild stay with her regularly but today, totally out of the blue, the dog jumped over my wife sat on the floor playing with the baby and viciously sunk its teeth into his beautiful little face! It was a truly sickening thing to see and had zero provocation.
I've been walking that dog and looking after him for five days now and never seen a glimmer of aggression with him, he seemed sweet and reliable but to switch like that today with no warning whatsoever has sickened me. My wife's in bits constantly blaming herself and breaking out in uncontrollable tears every half hour or so.
