Say hello if you see these crazy guys!

Saw these two guys on NCN 7 near Ayr today and had to ask what they were up to. They have cycled this contraption from Freiburg in southern Germany, to Inverness, and are now on the return journey to Freiburg . They were going to go to John o' Groats but ran out of time.

When I asked them if they were heading for a ferry from Hull or Dover, they just shrugged and said they hadn't decided yet, "Maybe whichever is cheaper!" Great outlook to have . I wished them well and set off, glad that I have a warm home and bed to go to on a chilly November night. They would appear to be camping .

If you see them on their journey, say hello; they're a good couple of lads.

Im pretty sure i crossed with them in Germany - or if not then it was a very similar contraption - between my cranky internet and their cranky website i cant work out what route they have taken - we waved and they disappeared into the distance - pretty sure i took a photo of the back end so when i get home i will have a look
