It means you are watching the thread, so you will get alerts when someone posts to it. You may have clicked 'watch thread' by accident. If you want to turn it off, go into the thread then look on the right of the screen above the top post - you should see 'unwatch thread' in blue. Click it, and when you go back to the forum the glasses should have disappeared.
