PS the fly-over side in-fills are cardboard, covered with a 1/32 brick-stone scale print off the web.................from the inkjet printer....... thought why not, rather than having a big gap.......under the bridge.................. worked a treat..........................

I can see a mini in there - I had the minis too.

Think I can also spot a Capri (fine motor) and also the car which was designed by a front end dept. and a back end dept. and they never met - the Triumph TR7.

We have digital, which is better than the old analogue but we are plagued by droputs in sections of track; probably because the track is on the floor and kids tread on it, bending the contacts.

TBH we spend so much tome trying to get the cars working right that it's a ball-ache.

Nice one, mine came down from the loft last year and the boy loves it. I have that white hut with the green roof as well.

loved my Scalextrix. Used to get together with friends and put all our track together to make one long track, then all used to argue about who's bit of track was who's. We never thought to mark it.

I don't currently have one, but my boy is 2½ so not long until I can get one for him.
"Isn't it my turn yet Dad"
"No, I'm still testing it"

Spotted the Crapi and the Minis, also in my own collection, but has no-one else seen that glorious Ferrari? I can't remember the model number, is it P50? Or P1? My Uncle had a couple of them... and the bugger won't release them to his nephew.

We got Micro stuff when we moved house 9 years ago. The Boy was 3 at the time, so we put it down in one of the spare rooms and he was sorted whilst the house filled itself around him.

We've also got Digital and, boy, is that fantastic! Unfortunately, at the same time we got it, we got a dog and The Boy is now 12 and a keen drummer, so it hasn't been out as much as I'd like as we don't have the room to lay it out. We got it out over Christmas, though, and had a hoot attaching the Muvi to the top of one of the cars.

I've got loads of the stuff boxed up in the loft, along with an extensive amount of model railway gear.

You're never too old for either, and Subbuteo comes into that catagory too, wish I'd kept mine
