A crash in the finale took out Farrar which is a shame but nice that Cav wasn't involved in it for a change.

A win is a win, and Cav was well clear. Nasty old crash though, just hope no-one is seriously damaged. Eddie Boasson-H crashed earlier, didn't look too bad, but reports say three ribs broken, so no Paris-Roubaix for him.

A good win for Cav and I hope this is the start of a good run for the rest of the season. I hope EBH hasn't cracked some ribs as that will really set back his preparations for future races for a while. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the lead out trains were a real mess and Cav did that more or less on his own.

Tell me about it - it was insane and I am really surprised that crash didn't take out more people. Mind you, Cav had already effectively won it by that stage. Farrar was never going to trouble him.

Yes, what a shame Farrar went down - he was on Cav's wheel, and now we'll never know what might have been, but I think you're right, Cav had it sown up anyway.
