Schwalbe Luganos on my Synapse dont half spray the water up !

Allways used slick tyres on road bikes but the new bike came with Schwalbe Luganos which have a sort of slight diamond pattern tread.

Amazed at the extra amount of water chucked up by them compared to slick tyres. May have to think about mudguards (or new tyres).

It's Welsh water man, it sticks to the tyres.

I like Lugano's - they're on my commuter bike. They help keep drafters off

Mmmmmmmmudguaaaaaards!! I get the same problem with Marathon plus - dipped into the dropps on my way home last night and got a face full of spray, which was very refreshing, if you like grit in your tea. You're going to get some spray whatever the tyre though, so mmmmmmmmudguaaaaaards all the way!!
