OK so nobody is bringing Marathon Winters in 24" or 20" into the UK. I'm seeing one of my Schwalbe distributors next week and Bohle (importer) in Feb. How many of you would be interested in these tyres?

I would, I'm part way through building a special rear wheel with ice spikes and barring filling the tyre with expanding foam haven't worked out how to prevent the shoe spikes i've used puncturing the tubes.

Before you all say it, I was bored and have just done wheel building course!

Well I'd be interested in one of them (for the rear drive wheel) possibly. Although I think the price is a bit scary, from what I've gathered. Probably BMX knobblies would work reasonably well in most of the snowy stuff I've been skidding through recently.

I keep an eye on tyres on Dotbike anyway - I seem to get through so many of the things!

I've seen people recommend tyre liners or even another tyre (smaller size) with the beads cut off inserted inside your home-made spiked tyre.
