Are these a worthwhile upgrade?

The 35mm profile scirocco's seem to be on sale everywhere for £160 which seems a good deal. I like the idea of the the larger profile rim, aesthetically they look great and the G3 pattern appeals too. Weight is negligible, but Then again would the 'aeroness' of them make up for that?

Obviously I have Khamsins now. Which are good wheels!

Thoughts?

I would be surprised if you could notice any difference at all.

IMO - if you are to see any real life significant gain you would have to step up a few grades more. Having said that - if your Khamsin's need replacing the Scirocco's get a good review

They don't need replacing at all actually. I just like the look of them and imagine that they'd be 'better' than the khamsin.

both wheels are basic and quite heavy - not worth changing IMO - deep section alloy rims are generally too heavy unless you pay a lot of money
