Any opinions on these bikes?
Im going to look at one on the weekend but before parting with my cash would like some reviews

He wants £450 for it which i think is a little steep but if its a good bike ill pay it even though its 50 over my budget.

Is it the right size for you?

For £450 used I’d be wanting a better groupset than Sora

Price is a bit steep considering they were about six hundred quid at the finish.
Check it over thoroughly and offer him 300 and move up to 350 if you have to. I don't think he'll get a better offer. Nice bike.

Check it out like @Cycleops says get the price down.
Plenty more bikes about if not and as i've found out better has a habit of coming round if you wait.

I think even £350 is a bit steep for a Sora spec road bike.

Why’s he selling it? If he thinks he can get £450, leave him to it

You can get a new Tiagra spec from Merlin for £525

Can you check what model it is, to me it looks like a 2018 Scott Speedster 20 not a 30, the 20 has a better spec.

Hes young and think he passed his driving test now no longer needs it to get to work

Just looked at the link, yeah it does look like a 20 but the specs hes posted are same as i put in op

personally I think its overpriced for a sora equipped road bike, there is certainly better equipped bikes out there for that price

Tell him he should get back on his bike and stop damaging the environment unnecessarily (as a youngster he should care more )
