Im hopefully picking one of these up next week.

Now I'm not the slimest ( 109KGS )

What would be the max weight on this bike don't fancy shelling out £499 on it to find I'm too fat for it.

Will be used for my commute to work 14 miles each way.

Used to ride hybrid bikes but stopped that just before xmas

Now want to get into riding again are road bikes easy to take too?

Ref your weight, likely the bike will be fine. The wheels will possibly not last as long with the extra weight on them, but if you avoid kerb hopping and big potholes, they'll last as long as they can

In terms of the rest of the bike, you could do some research into the max weight limit for the bike or ask the shop you are buying from. There shouldn't be an issue but if you are at the limit say, a potential warranty claim might become more tricksy

With healthy eating and 28 miles cycling a day, you should start to lose some weight too

The 2014 version of the bike is on sale here at £349, you could use the extra cash for stronger handbuilt wheels if necessary, although only in a 54cm, don't know what size you are looking at
