Seat slipping in the rails

HELP!!

My seat keeps slipping in the rails and is driving me nuts! Have tightened as much as I can but still keeps moving over time, help please to stop this happening.

New seatpost. Is it a cheap one with a steel head, you might be able to bend it? I had the same on my son's bike recently and just replaced the seatpost.

It's quite a cheap one lol, its a campag record carbon and just dismantled and noticed the top plate is also carbon (probably explains the issue) will get some Carbon Assembly Paste and see if this fixes the problem.

Ah, new fangled carbon stuff, beyond my nouse then. The only carbon I have is bound up in my molecules...

I had the same problem till i wrapped the rails with duct tape and the slipping stopped immediatly.

Won't that double the weight of the assembly though?

I have tried cleaning the post and rails with degreaser and see how I get on for the next couple of rides. If this don't work it's duck tape for me also, cheers for the suggestion!
