I'm dropping my bike off at Evans in Waterloo on Wednesday for some work on it and have to pick it up before 18:00 when they close but want to stay on in London for the evening. Can anyone suggest where I might find some secure parking to leave it until later in the evening. The bike park at London Bridge closes at 19:00 and the one at Finsbury Park at 20:00 which is too early. And its too good a bike to just leave locked up on the streets.

Don't know about Waterloo but Victoria and Paddington have big bike stands inside the station. Not guaranteed secure obviously but it's better than leaving it on the street as the staff look out for suspicious looking people and CCTV is there.
You'll need a ticket to get to the stands in Victoria but not in Paddington (the last time i looked) because there on a platform that aren't behind the ticket barriers.
