Just checked my own and Mod a/c's and not happening in either Chrome or Firefox.

Could be an old cached page. I sometimes get it if I click the red notifications bell on a page that's been open in a browser for ages and and is now out of date.
As you say, it goes away if you refresh the page.

Happens on my iPhone 12 too. As above, refreshing the page fixes it. I wonder if it's something to do with changing from 5G to WiFi or back, and an associated shift in IP address?

I get it on Android too. Usually when I returning to the site that has been open for some time. I assumed it happens because I have accessed the site on a different device in the meantime.
