I do like the challenge of counting to ten.

A little further on from that photo I exchanged my francs for lira, and I had to count much higher than ten.

That would have been beyond me as a musician. Four is normally my limit, and beyond that I have to use fingers. I was rubbish in old money.

An easy peasy one, so only one attempt needed, on the oldest bridge in Devon (early 1200's), at Clyst St Mary, where extraordinarily over 1000 men were killed in a battle in 1549 during the Prayer Book Rebellion.

It'll keep certain French fans happy.

Back in France, and the extra two seconds the OM System TG-7 gives (12s) makes the head-on selfie a tad less rushed (still a challenge to get it right though)... here coming towards the col de Marignac, and I think it gives a bit of an idea of the gradient. Pity it's an e-bike, but I'm being nice to the faulty ticker.
