Whereas a thread with a load of leering middle aged blokes drooling over half naked women is the epitome of quality.zimzum42 said:Exactly.
It could be a very useful resource and doesn't need to be filled with a load of snickering and rubbish about biscuits

That's kind of my point. I don't think Shaun had a rigid agenda whith this place and the light touch modding has always reflected that. Whereas on ACF the owner had a very clear idea of what he wanted, regardless of the users. The tension between the two eventually led to the collapse of the forum. I think Bonj has a similarly clear vision, it will be interesting to see if that survives contact with actual people.summerdays said:Whilst I agree in part, the owners through moderation definitely play a part - look at what happened at ACF, and compare it to the careful and considerate mod'ing that occurs here. I think Shaun does an excellent job of keeping this forum under control whilst allowing freedom. A difficult path to tread I expect.

I almost wish I could be bothered!Flying_Monkey said:He's certainly going to have to become a lot more tolerant and understanding if it's going to work. And is he going to refrain from crazed rants, or will that be part of the package? I almost wish I had the time to find out...
