Just recovered from it. I am now able to sit up in bed and take a little nourishing beef tea from time to time. I may be permitted visitors (other than the long suffering other half) later today.
No, I'm back at work, but I had three days off and I'm still feeling a bit rough. Possibly it was brought on by me spending Friday night stuck on the M5 in my freezing cold car with no jacket, refusing to run the engine for the heating because of the waste of petrol. And then going to a very wet and muddy music festival on Sunday and having to lug all our gear (PA, amps, guitars, drumkit) about half a mile in the rain, through knee deep mud up a big hill. Or possibly I'm just a big girly wuss.
