It's a sad (pause for effect ) time .When a fellow cyclist decides to put away the lycra for the last time .And to push the helmet to the back of the wardrobe with that stupid pillbox hat that was bought for a wedding long ,long ago .

But hey ho every cloud has a silver lining .

I now have 3 Nick Cotton books to give away .Thse were given to me a couple of weeks back along with other cycling books .Which i shall keep .

So who wants one or more of the following .

24 rides in The Yorkshire Dales .

23 rides in North York Moors and Teeside .

24 rides in Cumbria and the Lakes .

PM me and when the post go back next week i will post them out free of charge .

Cos i got some super books given to me .

Has she got the wrong bike?

I can't imagine the books would have helped. Nick Cotton is always horrible to Dot, so I don't see that he's going to be any more helpful to a stranger.

That's putting it mildly, he's tried to kill her at least twice!

He damned near did the same to me when I followed one of his routes across Dartmoor.

Great books but take care! When he refers to a "short tricky rocky section", what he means is over a mile along the side of a 45 degree slope with boulders that you'd struggle to walk over, let alone ride.
