I think I probably always did.
I like to use the word palestine as a substitute for philistine, and keep a straight face. The reactions from the person you're talking to are great. I make a point of it pacifically.

I tend to agree with @Cunobelin - if I went to, say, a musical evening of Mozart, and the advertising showed a "standard" orchestra with violins..etc.. and when I turned up, they were playing the "Jupiter" symphony on harmonicas and banjos, I would be a little put out, and want my money back - I see no difference with Shakespeare - what is advertised is what you should expect.

yebbut, what if they turned up dressed in trendy black open necked shirts, rather than the white tie and tales in the poster taken at their previous gig. Would you be demanding your money back after 5 minutes ?
For the record, I like white tied orchestras at concerts as it adds to the occasion, but the music, or play, is the thing, no ?
Cunobelin does rather sound like he went in determined to make a scene, and all this so called misrepresentation, and so-say "lies", is just a smokescreen of faux umbrage

Yes, the music is the thing, but Mozart on a banjo is NOT Mozart with a "classic" orchestra ... and therein lies the rub
