Shave legs, Yes or No?

I used shave mine when I raced. However I had to do this a couple of times a week otherwise the stubble would catch on my jeans and be really irritating. So it’s a bit of a pain but your legs look better shaved. These days my legs are so hairy I can see the shadow of the hairs when I’m riding in the sun.

Cycling has turned my legs into what can only be described as well sculpted art! Bronzed, muscular and quite hairy. I would never ever shave my legs, they'd look ridiculous.

When Specialist did their tests years back, the conclusion was a hairy strip down your shin bone and shaved everywhere else is the most aero, followed by shaved, followed by hairy.

Shave, wax, epilate.
Smooth legs feel great and show off muscle definition better too.

Never have and I won the club championship with hairy legs, admittedly the fastest (now a UK champ) didn't bother as he was concentrating on bigger things, and the 2nd fastest broke his collarbone. No amount of shaving would've made me faster anyway. Post chemo in my early 40s I need the extra warmth anyway and thats a more material (as opposed to marginal) gain!

In my shaving days my mum bought me a thing called an Epilady which was two rotating discs that pulled the hairs out. It was the most painful experiences in my life.

I always call BS on that one. They'd shave their arms too if that was the case.

Its supposed to make wounds easier to clean after a crash and stop them getting infected but IME hairy legs stop them getting infected in the first place before you have a chance to clean things and it didn't seem difficult when you could.
