I use king of shaves. at www.shave.com They have recently dropped the old style blades I used which were 4 for 2.99 I had so many I used to pass some on to my brother in law, but they said they had quality issues and replaced them with a newer style and new handle which are £5.99 for 4 (although I get a loyalty discount of 10%) so £5.40 I now just have them bi-monthly which is enough for me but don't pass any on.

I like it because the price of the big brands in shops is astronomical but don't like cheap supermarket own brand. so a fiver going out every 2 months and the blades getting delivered to my door suits me fine.

I did the traditional safety razor thing for years, buying up gorgeous brushes and soaps and razors, exotic but cheap blades and all that. Thanks to having even less time than ever now, plus a need to travel very light with no big liquids (and no open blades), I've regressed to a little travel brush in a tube, a small bowl of hard shaving soap, and a throwaway mach3 disposable.

The Mach3 disposable is very good particularly when teamed with proper prep. And it's relatively cheap. Pack of five for about a fiver, so a whole week of shaving for about a pound or two. They're also on offer sometimes, making them way, way cheaper than the stupid 7 blade "systems".

Body shaving takes ages, I couldn't even consider using a cut throat razor below the neck.

Gillette, the most expensive a man can get, does it for me.

I dunno why Gillette etc don't just use that 5th blade that shaves you closer as the 1st one . Would save on 4 blades .

Back to hairy face now anyway as " winter is coming "

WTF! It's available on an auto-reorder service too.

You may want t read some of the warnings before use.

Precautions before using Veet For Men Gel Cream:

  • Always follow directions for use
  • Designed for legs, arms, underarms & bikini line, but not suitable for use on the face, head, breast, perianal or genital areas.

Combining "Veet for Men" and "bikini line" in the same advert is a little disturbing but who am I to judge?

Here for rides.
Merkur Futur and feather blades. But I only shave twice a week max. During the shaving season. I won a cut-throat but have yet to master it.

I quite like a trip to the barbers for a hot towel shave.

Me? Beard and Mitchell Brothers bald, the ideal cost and time saving combination.

Once a week a quick going over with a Remington and Braun, job done.

I thought £3.20 was expensive for a pack of 10 Feather blades, but I've just looked at the price of the Gillette fusion blades....nearly £13 for 4.
You'd have to be daft.

That makes me daft then, I have tried lots of different combinations over the 47 years I have been shaving and the Fusion works best for me, I also have no problem with the price as I buy a pack of ten which lasts a year or so.
